Frustrated Russians Should Drive Putin Into Peace Talks

The late, great U.S. Sen. Everett Dirksen, R-Ill., famously said: "When I feel the heat, I see the light." It's high time that Russian President Vladimir Putin similarly yielded to public pressure. President Donald Trump is just the man to turn Putin's people against him. Read More ›

Report To Reveal Infiltration of Homelessness Movement

You see a man in a shop doorway shooting up. A block away a man outside a tent bends over in the “dope fiend lean” that supposedly intensifies a “hit.” A woman is in the middle of the street nearby, swaying to and fro and shouting in distress at unseen ghosts. But there is also a rally forming two blocks north, in front of the courthouse, where black-clad, masked youth might again set a dumpster or two on fire to mark their righteous protest against one thing or another. George Gilder: A Prophetic Voice on the State of the American Male

In his book, “Men and Marriage” (an expanded edition of his 1973 work “Sexual Suicide”) first published nearly 40 years ago, George Gilder wrote: “The public philosophy of an unmarried male focuses on immediate gratification.” He commented: “Men lust, but they don’t know what for; they wander, and lose track of the goal; they fight and compete, but they forget the prize; they spread seed but spurn the seasons of growth; they chase power and glory but miss the meaning of life.” When Gilder penned those words, the family was breaking down and marriage was being mocked as an “outdated” and “patriarchal” institution by the American Left. And now as we look at American society in 2025, we see how Read More ›

Anti-Israel Protestors Gather in Seattle’s Westlake Park

Mobilizing Against America & Israel Seattle’s professional protesters are now using Iran to push their anti-capitalist, anti-Jew, and pro-Marxist agenda. Dozens of far-left activists holding Answer Coalition placards mobilized Sunday afternoon at Westlake Park. One of the speakers boldly proclaimed: “It is reasonable to end the apartheid state of Israel.” If you don’t know already, they want to usher in a revolution by any means necessary.

Ralph Munro Touched the Heart of the People

Many of the accolades for Ralph Munro will describe his policy innovations as a long-time Secretary of State. Actually, a few of those innovations at the time made me uncomfortable. But, meanwhile, as the third ranking elected official in Washington State, Ralph, wrapped in his distinct position, embarked on a decades-long effort to ennoble citizen efforts to make Washington a better place and to recognize volunteer public service wherever he found it. President Trump, Please Staple (Conditional) Green Cards to Graduate Degrees

In June 2024, presidential candidate Donald J. Trump said: "You graduate from a college, I think you should get, automatically as part of your diploma, a green card to be able to stay in this country. That includes junior colleges, too." Trump's comments, which were an entry in the ongoing and recently intensified debate on the right about immigration, tapped into a truth. Read More ›

Campus Antisemitism Continues

A largely failed attempt to place ads for a pro-Israel book in ten universities' student papers illustrates the double standard by which many students as well as faculty and administrators treat anti-Israel protestors, on one hand, and Israel supporters on the other. Every university approached recently by Seattle-based Discovery Institute on behalf of The Israel Test by George Gilder, a pro-Israel work published by Encounter Books, has experienced anti-Israel demonstrations. Some had riots. Yet most were treated by authorities with appeasement or even encouragement. Read More ›

Israel’s Coming Attack Will Also Assist Ukraine

The next battle in the Middle East may be played out in the skies above Iran. The outcome obviously is meant to help Israel, but may well assist Ukraine, too. If "the enemy of my enemy is my friend," Israel and Ukraine are friends already, and even quiet allies. Read More ›

Are We Passing the Israel Test? George Gilder Appears on The Bill Walton Show

George Gilder sat down with Bill Walton to discuss the new edition of his book The Israel Test. Gilder makes the case that Israel's accomplishments are worthy of our admiration, not our envy, that we are dependent on Israel for much of our technology, and that our support of Israel at this crucial moment in history is vital to the future of the West. Fixing Presidential Debates: Lose the Moderators

The Trump-Harris debate — with 67 million viewers, the most watched in 16 years — was a 3-on-1 travesty. Megyn Kelly’s take (4:34) on the moderators shows extreme moderator anti-Republican bias, so ingrained that drastic measures must be taken. There are preliminary indications that Trump may have picked up undecided voter support, but even if so, reform is urgently needed. There are fixes at hand, but getting the Democrats to agree requires that Trump wins the election, as they benefit from today’s bias. Moderators as Neutral Time-Keepers (1) candidates and their campaign staffs prepare questions for the opposing candidate(s); (2) each side decides which topics to raise; (3) questions are limited to 30 seconds, to prevent candidates from making speeches Read More ›
